Cream of Wheat Halva Recipe

Thick Cream of Wheat Pudding with Milk and Nuts

In a saucepan over low heat, cook together until lightly browned and dry (aobut 5-10 minutes):
1 cup uncooked cream of wheat
2 Tablespoons butter ,dt> Stir in, a small amount at a time:
1-1 1/4 cups room temperature milk or water
Stir in:
1 cup sugar
1 TBS raw or roasted almonds, in large pieces
1 TBS raw or roasted cashews, in large pieces
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
2 teaspoons ghee
yellow raisins to taste (opt.)
Cook, stirring continously, for about 2 minutes or until sticky.
Eat with a spoon.
