Finally, perfect vegan chai, as good as you could find from a train station Chaiwala in Mumbai!
It's a perfect balance of spiced, creamy, sweet, and earthy, with a little kick.
At the same time, it is guilt-free vegan with oat milk as the creamer.
Enjoy this warm drink after dinner and before bedtime, without affecting your sleep!
Rooibos tea is naturally caffeine-free, and the ginger aids digestion.
The Barista-Lovers Oatmilk is the key to this recipe. Do not use any other variety. Even the Planet Oat Extra Creamy Oatmilk results in chai that is too watery.
The Yogi tea has Stevia Leaf, so you will not to add need much sugar. The first choice for type of sugar is Madhava Organic Coconut Sugar, or another brand of Coconut Sugar. This gives the flavor more depth and also darkens the color of the tea to a rich, deep brown. The second choice is Domino Granulated Sugar. Domino brand sugar is vegan and does not use bone char for refining.
This recipe is Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Caffeine-free, Vegan
